12"But you profane it,
In that you say,
"The table of the LORD[2] is defiled;
And its fruit, its food, is contemptible.'
13You also say,
"Oh, what a weariness!'     / / IE, how boring it is to pray, go to chruch, read my bible
And you sneer at it,"
Says the LORD of hosts.
"And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick;
Thus you bring an offering!
Should I accept this from your hand

On the one hand, you bring lousy stuff to God, the leftovers, the worthless, that which you would throw away anyways, and then you complain there is nothing good to eat.

In the temple worship, the people ate part of the offering they brought to the LORD. This is like going to a potluck with some nasty old store bought pasta salad and then complaining the food stinks!

Also, there is the concept that you are passing judgment on the 'table of the LORD', calling it unclean. Accept the LORD in your fellow man, in your preacher, in your present surroundings, or move on, but don't call that which, because your heart is not hungry, because you are satisfied in your misery and your own carnality, unclean.

Or, you could just cry out for HUNGER.... And God will give it to you....
